Pro Tips for NEET Success

80% Face Coverage

Your face, including ears and forehead, must cover at least 80% of the photograph. Look straight into the camera lens.

Strict White Background

No colored backdrops are allowed. The background must be pure, clean white. Spectacles are allowed only if worn regularly.

Name & Date Banner

The photo must display the candidate's name and the date of photography (DD/MM/YYYY) printed clearly in black text on a white banner.

Common Rejection Mistakes to Avoid

Low Face Ratio (less than 80%)

Taking a standard portrait where your shoulders and chest are dominant. NEET NTA requires a close-up where your head occupies 80% of the frame.

Not Uploading Postcard Size

NEET requires both passport-size and postcard-size (4x6) photos. Forgetting the postcard size or uploading it with different clothes will cause issues.

Incorrect Date Format

Printing the date of birth instead of the date of photography, or formatting the date incorrectly.

Official Photography & Scanning Guidelines

High Close-Up Face Focus: Your face must fill up the box. Forehead, eyebrows, nose, mouth, chin, and both ears must be clearly visible.
White Background Only: Do not use grey, light blue, or outdoor backdrops. The background must be flat, studio-white.
Date of Taking Photo: The photo must be taken on or after the date specified in the NEET information bulletin (usually Jan 1st of the exam year).
Print in Black Font: The text showing your name and date must be super clear, rendered in black bold font on a solid white strip.

Why use our NEET Resizer?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) enforces extremely strict validation guidelines for NEET. A high percentage of candidates get their applications put on hold due to missing name-date banners or incorrect face percentages. Our NEET tool simplifies this by embedding the required name/date banner automatically and locking the face guide.
